What is your favorite example of when the cheap version of a product is legit better than the expensive one?
This is all downstream of the belief that the right has no agency. If you buy that, then the anti-trans backlash is a response to the overreach of woke. But woke is perceived as something the left just decided to do, like a trend, and not in and itself a response to a violation of rights.

RFK would have you believe that those ambulances were empty, and also that every ER doc and nurse across the country is simultaneously lying, and only he can tell you the truth.

I will just say, the way I became a Person Who Doesn’t Kill Many of Her Plants is by trying not to kill many plants and failing.
gamera obscura@ohrobin.bsky.social · 4d agoI found a plant at the condo dumpster, sitting in the sun, scorched and dry. PlantApp tells me it’s an anthurium, and that it is salvageable. Today is the day I learn to be a Person Who Has a Plant and Doesn’t Kill It.
Cheap gardening is great! But these things are like $10-$25 each and I’m pretty sure even the thrifty enthusiast could wangle both.
