Notice DOJ doesn't talk about its efforts to obtain state voter files anymore. They are 0-20 in those cases and today is the beginning of the quiet period -- states can no longer do systematic removals of names from the voter rolls. TLDR: We won!🥳

Max Miller released audio recordings of conversations he has with his ex wife. In one of them, she accuses him of clandestinely recording their conversations. “I have never recorded our conversations” he says, while recording their conversation. This is domestic violence. Ask me how I know.

I think it also revealed just how quickly a bunch of otherwise very hard problems can be to solve with global collective action. The fuckin Ganga was running clear water for the only time in my lifetime because for 2 weeks nobody threw garbage in it. The canals in Venice had fish.
Covid lockdowns demonstrated, in a deeply imperfect way, the possibility of large-scale social solidarity for a higher cause. That is a prime reason why so many powerful people want us to run screaming away from them into the comforting arms of selfish individualist competition.
So Tillis and Cornyn’s position is that the slush fund and IRS immunity is disgusting, illegal, immoral, and unethical but they are willing to confirm the man who agreed to it as Attorney General of the United States as long as he takes it back.

“Should Max Miller resign?” Jim Jordan: “He’s a good man. I’m helping him get re-elected.” Kasie: “He’s accused of throwing boiling water on his ex, held a gun to her head, fractured their daughter’s collarbone…”🤔 Jordan: *stammers helplessly as she plays his Platner comments*
What's tricky about the dual loyalty thing is that it *is* antisemitic to assume that every Jewish person, politician and institutional organization is loyal to the state of Israel. But also, a number of them...are! And pretending that they aren't makes the complaint look fundamentally disingenuous!
I think the thing is is that these people plainly do have a dual loyalty, they will openly state that they do, and it's just considered impolite to point it out.
An interview where I explain the substack that I wrote yesterday comparing COVID and Alberta Separatism.
Same People, Same Anger: How COVID Activists Became Alberta Separatists Why is 20% to 30% of the Alberta population stark raving bonkers? Same in other provinces, IMO. How do you discuss separatism with someone who is arguably unwell? @duanebratt #ABleg youtu.be/aota47zIglY
This is a good and fair point. Yet the ICE situation is also unique since many of these people and children are being unlawfully detained and denied due process.
This happens in our "regular" prisons every day. Why is it that the immigrants forcibly kidnapped are getting news coverage but the prisoners who are suing for their rights don't get any coverage? Where is their Senate visit? Angola is known for being completely outta line w/regulations.
yay... destroying the environment and water in Alberta, for a US company. In case you're wondering why US interests are funding 'separation' BS. And when it says 'tied to' below, it means 'owned by'. The other bus names were just created to 'own the asset' that is the Alberta coal mine.

This is massively fucked up and illegal.
