The “USA” chants during #Bluejays games are just so stupid. The team is mostly American. I doubt it’s bothering them that much, and it just makes Americans look like idiots.

These days, every issue of a higher ed periodical includes a piece like, “50 ways to AI-proof your academic assessments! Each is clearly ineffective and/or requires resources that you don’t have!”

I was at this amazing show! There was a massive snowstorm (for NYC) and we were able to snag same day tickets and walk to the theater. Colbert insisted on guessing whose ?s (Lena Dunham) he was answering. One of my best memories of living in Brooklyn.

In 2017, we traveled to Brooklyn to do a show at BAM, and our guest dropped out at the last minute. We called Stephen Colbert and he agreed to fill in *but only if we asked him the questions we had prepped for the original guest, without telling him who it was.* www.npr.org/programs/wai...

Is the Fulbright (US Scholar program) still a thing? The competition is open, but is the program functioning in terms of having people to review applications and an administrative intent to distribute awards?

Microsoft ending basic authentication means I have to give up my gmail workflow for work emails. 😭 It's a minor annoyance given the state of the world, and I know I should ditch google anyway, but I'm taking it hard. Going to try Betterbird.
