The Dem leadership — as demonstrated by their utter failure to defend democracy — only exists for the protection of the capital-owning class. It's impossible for them to be relevant even in the face of this unfolding disaster, because you can't defend capital and the people at the same time.

People really don't understand how warped the truly rich are. They exist in a multi-layered-bubble of sycophants, each paid half a million dollars a year to keep the consequences of that super-rich person's failures and the word "no" from their ears. They are flying blind with no real feedback.
