i think its funny that ppl act like anyone but like 3 ppl in vgm get booked off of merit when i think even for me almost every booking I've ever gotten that i didnt handle myself has just been because the person booking the event knew me LOL its all nepotism all the way down baby thats the game

turns out i was actually seeing EVANGELION: DEATH & REBIRTH which ive never seen!! i just kept assuming it was end of eva showing today i never rly looked at it lmao i loved it! super fun frenetically paced recap of the show with some additional context that i found super cool as a lifelong eva girl

I understand that it sucks to have to read a book you didn't choose as a kid but when people are like 40 and still going, "well assigned reading turned me off from reading" it's like, ok but you're 40. No one has assigned you a book in like 20 years.
