I hate how, if you point out that it sucks when the Dodgers build the death star, everyone assumes you’re in favor of a salary cap or pro-owner. Nuts to that. Both things can be true! I can dislike owners, be pro-labor, but also find it demoralizing when one team gobbles up the best players.

My cousin’s partner gave me some goose breast to grill, and I’m grilling it bacon-wrapped. Within minutes of me starting the setup process, I heard the gentle footsteps of the dog entering the kitchen to inspect. He had been perfectly calm, napping in a whole other room.
