With Labour winning the Manchester mayoral election, the final piece of the transition from Starmer to Burnham has been successfully accomplished. The whole process was done very effectively without the division, defeats and chaos and that many predicted. Labour, I barely recognise you.

On my way to Manchester to see the last performance of Something Rotten! I always knew British audiences would love this show, but the reviews and ecstatic reception has exceeded all expectations! Huge thanks to our amazing cast - and fingers crossed for a West End transfer.

DATE NIGHT! Me and Gary Delaney were very lucky to see Something Rotten last night at Manchester Opera House and absolutely loved it. Great songs, so funny AND tap dancing! Well done Jason Manford, Richard Fleeshman, Marisha Wallace and the whole cast. Last show today, grab a ticket if you can.

It’s (left to right) Gary, me and our good pal Jason Manford who had just come off stage. Gary and I are wearing black and Jason is in pale blue. We’re all smiling. What a great night.

You have until Sunday to catch Something Rotten! at the Manchester Opera House. If there is a funnier song than ‘A Musical’ in any show ever, I would love to see it. (I can say that cos I didn’t write the songs) www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/whats-on/the...
