As of it's second episode, this now the most important show on TV. (Sorry, it's not TV, it's HBO.)
The fifth and final Gnori tale is finished and weighs in at about 15,000 words. The saga is now complete.
We now have as many "new" Apes films (five) as we did the "original" Apes films (five). That's ten films total, plus a 14-ep TV series, and a Saturday Morning cartoon. All the movies are streaming, but not the TV show. Luckily, I still have my DVD from 2004. Virdon and Burke live!
All right! The first draft of the final Gnori the Bold story is complete. Next comes revisions and edits, then "Lay Down Your Sword, Lay Down Your Life" will be ready for the WORLDS BEYOND WORLDS Expanded Edition. Still shooting for an August release.

Holy Dracarys! The HOUSE OF THE DRAGON season opener was amazing. I don't care what anybody says: This show is even better than GAME OF THRONES. Lots of BIG dragons always beats three tiny dragons.
Kim Thayil has long my favorite guitarist. SOUNDGARDEN has inspired me in every possible way over the years. I saw them live four times, and I saw Chris Cornell twice as a solo act. Kim's new memoir, A SCREAMING LIFE, is fantastic. The audiobook version is narrated by Kim himself.

Most comedy shows get less funny the more times you've seen them, but somehow--some way--SCHITT'S CREEK just gets funnier every time I re-watch it.

If Kurt Vonnegut were alive today and wrote a movie, it would be this movie. The kind of science fiction that is truly important--a reflection of our rising dystopia and the absurd times in which we live. Sam Rockwell slays, as usual. And Juno Temple is always great.
