The list of companies with whom I will never do business because of abysmal customer service gets one longer any time I have to interact with a company.
Noticed some good in my dog's eye. 12 hrs later I'm still awake in the veterinary emergency waiting room. Last week she had a spindle cell tumor removed. Wish Sadie good luck, and hope she keeps both eyes. If you make it to 16 in December I am buying you a car.
Now that I teach at a veterinary school, I finally have a use for all of my animal themed bowties
Before everyone studied to lofi beats, they over-extrapolated from not-very reproducible results in a study of 36 college students to insist that everyone study while listening to Mozart. This is the true reason Millenials killed classical music
Due to inflation, today the 6 million dollar man would cost 45 million. The contract would be granted in a no-bid contract to a start-up affiliated with Kushner that had never done bionics before, and he would die on the table because they used a MAHA grifter surgeon

Rfk jr is weird in that it's hard to predict exactly the cognitive biases and thinking mistakes that will lead to his bad decisions other than "he will always make the wrong decision"

Remember: if you see someone grieving a pet online, it's your feelings that matter and that's too much of a bummer. ONLY GOOD VIBES, OR ELSE
In 1972 members of Nixon's reelection campaign burglarized DNC headquarters. Nixon attempted to conceal his administration's involvement.
Sam Lloyd@llamsoyd.bsky.social · 6mo agoin honor of The Onion officially taking over InfoWars, what’s a conspiracy theory you 100% believe? Michael Jordan was doing the exact same shit as Pete Rose (gambling on games his team played in) during his playing career and Nike+the NBA have…done what it took to keep that quiet.
With the help of the Sandy Hook families, The Onion has reached a long-awaited deal to take over InfoWars. We've enlisted the help of @timheidecker.bsky.social, who will be InfoWars' Creative Director. Please stand by for more.

It’s absolutely incredible that one of the largest Japanese-run Go servers, which has been running since 1992, is still accessed entirely via Telnet. And while most players use GUI clients that use Telnet under the hood, you can still connect manually and get ASCII graphics streamed to you
RFK Jr came to Sacramento twice to debate me and oppose my school vaccination legislation. He even incited his extremist followers to physically assault me, but I did not back down. Beat RFK Jr both times. Running for Congress to beat him again in Washington. #DrPanForCongress #CA06 #publichealth

I've been discovering that a shocking fraction of people don't really have a concept of the scale of solar projects that are needed to generate the energy we need. Utility scale solar is a good thing in addition to local panels.
