And, ideally, it would leave so many of them broke that it actually becomes a deterrent. Being poor is truly all they care about not because they don’t care about prison.
Meetup bot activity baffles me - the in-person writing group I've run for a few years just reached 400 "members," most of whom seem decidedly not real. Do I want to manage 400 person events? No. We've maxed 16, and I probably don't want many more. But I don't quite understand the bot end game here
