My biggest question here is: will this diminish the "Russian bot + some sentence translated to Russian using Google translate" we all get? Yeah I don't think so either.

As a dev and a recovering alcoholic, I can confirm. In fact, and this is why I bring up alcoholism, my own personal journey of ditching LLMs and getting back to autodidactic development feels very much like addiction recovery in both content and consequence, that is struggle and reward.

And I think it harms everyone to use terms reserved for the oppressed like Othering in defense of people who are divvying people up into categories & caging them so I guess we all got some shit to work on.
