"Profitable, but not profitable enough" is the toxic end game of capitalism. The 3,200 employees have zero value, their skills and institutional knowledge are discarded, long term success is burned for short term gain. Earning 3% profits isn't enough to leech off for shareholders, so destroy it all.
My work came up doing small talk today and got the reply: "Oh I didn't think you'd be into videogames because you're so tall."
