Watched a Beach Boys video tonight that sent me back to the Dennis Wilson solo album. Which is a place I visit often! It's easily the best BB-associated album, but is better than any of their albums after, what, like 1970? It's kind of like Wild Honey, but also like Spiritualized's entire career.

Had a great time playing up in Green Bay last night, glad we went. Once we got through the multiple amp failures, it was a damn good set, and we got to see old buds and cool bands. Also glad I cleared my schedule for today because I cannot get my brain to work proper for the life of me. I am TIRED.

More tales from the storage unit, pt 1: This was my first Beatles tape. My uncle gave it to me when I was very little. 30 minutes on a Radio Shack cassette, sourced from who knows where. I'm glad to see this again, I couldn't remember what all was on it.
Unexpected follow-up: yesterday my brother and I were digging through our old storage unit and found another copy of this! It's not our original copy (I have that) and it also had the record bound in! I insisted he take it, since I had this one.

Back from another PRFBBQ. It's been, like, twenty-ish years so far? It was great. My heart is full of love, friendship, music. I have pictures, some. Kinda forgot to take them after a while. Walked away with shirts, records, hugs. Work's gonna suck tomorrow.
