I'm in a weird place where for some reason (?) I think it's inappropriate to pass off AI-generated writing as one's own, but I see it absolutely everywhere now. So I wonder: is everyone trying to pull a fast one on me? or do they just have different standards of acceptable behavior and it's nbd?

just realized that I type "x" with my left index finger, resulting in a much larger hand motion than for any other letter. (I type "z" with my left ring finger.)
design venting: Spotify made the top result of a search (1) look different than all the other results, (2) have a faded-out background so it looks especially irrelevant / skippable, (3) have its play button on the right side instead of the left, just to make sure your muscle memory is defeated.
Strava on Android randomly closes when I'm recording an activity and doesn't record until I reopen it. I have all the battery things turned to "please don't close this". What do I do. 🥺

"Museum exhibit" is an immersive, architectural medium. Most art in museums isn't native to this medium. It's transplanted via hermetic enclosures: frames on walls, plexiglass boxes on pedestals. "Installation art" really just means art meant for this medium, art that knows it's in a museum.

I think there's a widespread issue where people map their experience interpreting poll numbers – 53% means you're probably going to win, 25% means no way in hell – onto prediction market odds – 53% means it's a coin flip, 25% means it's two coin flips. Maybe they'll figure it out eventually? 🤷
