So stoked about the NEW ANNUAL ZINE FAIR in Lutruwita/Tasmania! The State Library & Archives Zine Fair went super well with plenty of punters rolling in for nice chats and zine consumption.
An odd phenomenon … and have run the only annual zine fair in Tasmania for 13 years and no major institution has ever promoted it on their socials or newsletters. It has been necessarily underground. The last 2 years I have campaigned for more zine fairs and this year we have THREE NEW ONES …
It began, as all writers festivals do, with zero comics authors being programmed … and it ended, as with lots of writers festivals these days, with comics authors being annoyed they cant join the walkout.
