Come join us April 2027 for the next instalment of the EMBL Chromatin and Epigenetics meeting. Great invited speakers and lots of talks selected from abstracts! It will be a fantastic meeting (despite the egregious nucleosome images...)

Such a pleasure to share my work at the inaugural Oxford chromatin meeting! Really enjoyed - especially the extended discussion over the drink 🥂 Thank you for organising @fitz-james-lab.bsky.social and @mariekewens.bsky.social!

🧪A pleasure to have hosted the first meeting of the Oxford Chromatin Club with @mariekewens.bsky.social yesterday! Great talks from Hoa Vo (Physics) on CMG progression and @joyjoychoi.bsky.social (@oxfordbiochemistry.bsky.social) showing the incredible CryoET work from her new preprint (link below).

It's so cool to see more papers showing unexpected findings describing active regions are not necessarily super open, with newer techniques with higher resolution.

🧬 Highly related @natgenet.nature.com paper from @binzmit.bsky.social group, using nucleosome-resolution chromatin modeling: Euchromatin forms condensed domains with short active regions on the surface www.nature.com/articles/s41... Congratulations! 🎉

Come join us at the @biozentrum.unibas.ch as Professor in Climate Biophysics. Blue-sky research, inspiring colleagues, and generous support.
