The Dodgers are not baseball's biggest problem. The Tigers and Orioles are -- two teams within 3 games of the playoffs, blowing up their seasons to collect lotto tix. Baseball's greatest stories have come as a result of improbable runs. You can't have those if you're a slave to probabilities.
