Well, it's not too far off. Except for two points: 1. It has never been called the Project Tau series (Project Tau was the title of the first book published. The series is called the Five Worlds) 2. I'm not American. I've spent a grand total of four days in the USA, and that was back in 2012 😂

1: the #RevPit annual contest was never about ranking how good your MS was. it was always about editors finding a MS they felt comfy and confident providing a solid dev edit for in a limited amount of time. some ppl didn't win bc their MS was already query-ready.

So I had to wait longer than others (results came in at 1-2AM my time) but it was worth the wait! I can't believe I'm a #RevPit winner; it seems like something out of a dream! I'm so excited to work with @azali-avenger.bsky.social on Juno's story!

Usually, I like living in a different timezone 'cause it's fun telling everyone that when they talk to me, they're talking to someone in the future. When it comes to #RevPit and #RevPitWaiting though, I'll happily make an exception 'cause I have to wait until Wednesday to get the results 😭

I got bored of sitting around #RevPitWaiting, so I went to my jewelry/handwork club and made enamel ducks! I haven't been doing enamel work for long, so I'm really pleased with how they turned out! Now, if I could just my hands on some horse-shaped copper...

Just got done watching The Maze Runner with my husband. I wasn't expecting much tbh, but WOW it was awesome! 😀

Phonics training actually does help children read English, and 'sight words' should generally be limited to function words like is, the, and, to, so that beginners can actually enjoy reading a (short) poem or story while they wait to acquire more content words
