Crikey, terrible nights sleep. Anxiety is a hideous thing, that I haven't had to deal with for a few years now. Three more days and then I'm off for 3 weeks. Four more days and it's the eclipse cruise!!

I have been doing ressie conveyancing since 2000, I was admitted as a FILEX in 2007 and as a solicitor in 2012. Today I was nearly reduced to vomiting with anxiety 😟

I wish to report a parkrun injury. Worse than when I fell over a lump of air at the velopark, then 2 weeks later fell over a tree root at Lanhydrock. I appear to have been bitten by a horse fly on the back of my leg whilst visiting Andover. I have a huge itchy red lump & am looking for sympathy 😟

The very idea of bootnecks forcing channel crossers ashore in France when (a) the French haven't agreed and (b) the channel crossers don't want to get off any boat is for the birds. And not the kind of birds bootnecks are interested in. 🙄🙄🙄

Reform will order the Royal Navy to turn back boats in the channel? Really? REALLY? They are utterly, utterly foolish. Well, you knew that 🙄

Lovely trip to Birmingham and thence to Andover for parkrun on the Trafalgar Way. Home via pongo country-Tidworth, Bulford, Larkhill, passing something called RifleFest which is I assume members of the Rifles Regiment polishing their equipment & sleeping under hedges. Or something. I did not stop!

And now there is a major gas leak in east Cornwall. The police have put out a warning about naked flames and smoking in case of explosion 🫢

Happy parkrun eve eve, everyone! I'm off to the NEC for the festival of quilts on Friday and thence to Andover on the trafalgar way! Happy days 🥰

I am so horrified for the little haggis caught up in the Cairngorms fire. They only have little legs and won't be able to run very fast 😞

Update on the incident at parkrun last week, chap doing well waiting in hosp for an operation. Learnt that if the defib is used it has to go back to parkrun HQ for something and replacement pads, that the local run has to pay for! Also the runner who used it was sick all over the defib!

Wish I could be I. London for Trans pride day but there are only so many weekends before I go on holiday, normally I would do stuff during the week but I'm working and thus the other stuff has to be done at the weekend 🙄
