when the Neil shit came out, I didn't see anyone online defend him. (and a dear friend who was extremely close to him said she believed the women.) I realize grooming is a whole different category. And it's hard to care when the victims themselves don't see it as a problem.

I don't really spend a lot of time with cats. Today I found out that if you touch them in the wrong place, they'll bite you and hiss. (Like a bird) Unfortunately, it happened so fast I have no idea where I was touching him. We're friends again though.
Fuck it. I am sick to the back teeth of people today saying they never heard Glen Hansard was a groomer so therefore those of us who did hear it shouldn't talk about it. He groomed teenage girls. He was well known for it in certain circles. He would give out burner phones for them to text him from.
It's crazy living through the mass, collective and willful self delusion everyone in Ireland is having over Glen Hansard. Endless hagiographies and any mention of his relationship with a 13yo girl immediatly shut down.
