He's right, and it's not just Brazil. Around the world, at least 31 democratic leaders who committed similar crimes have been jailed or banned from office since 2010. The failure to hold Trump accountable in the US was a unique and systemic failure of our institutions and political culture.

Another very simple message: Vaccines keep school children from dying of preventable diseases. Vaccine requirements are up to the states to decide — so go fuck yourself, Kennedy. Parents, wake up. You need to organize. Don’t let the MAHA nuts be the only organized voices in your legislature.

Another quote from the MAHA Report that should set off alarm bells all over the U.S.: “Unlike other pharmaceutical products, vaccines are unique in that all 50 states enforce some form of vaccine mandate for public school enrollment”. This is because they PROTECT CHILDREN FROM CONTAGIOUS DISEASE.
