I have never seen platform reliability take a nose dive in quite the same way as GitHub recently. Practically every day I'm dealing with an outage on actions, webhooks, PRs, etc. Some products seem untouchable in terms of competition until they aren't.

ok so... I'm writing a book. It's called JavaScript In Depth (www.manning.com/books/javasc...) ... the first four chapters are available by Manning. This has been a difficult project and will continue to be so. The reason is that it isn't a How To book that focuses only on how to use the langauge

I haven't used Windows for development in a minute (ok, decade). So far I'm surprised that most of the tools I want to use are available! Outside of the new terminal app, winget and oh-my-posh, are there other Windows-specific tools I should be looking into?
