A local influencer just used the phrase “vibey aesthetic” in a video to describe a restaurant interior. “Vibey aesthetic”. That literally means nothing. It is the emptiest phrase I’ve ever heard someone say. Absolutely devoid of meaning or purpose. The aesthetic is VIBES? WHAT??? Go home.

Daily games are in the intersection of traditional puzzle writing and video game development and you can’t talk about a daily puzzle game properly unless you know a) how to write a puzzle well and how to make it fun and b) what it takes to actually make a game that works and plays well

People in the games world calling just regular puzzles delivered daily as "puzzleslop" or "wordle-likes" when they're mechanically different from wordle is reductive as hell.
