When you're an author, everyone asks you about getting published. My 9 year old has started very early. "Do you think I can get my book published?" "That's just a picture of a ghost, are you going to do a story with it?" *Shrug* "You can type it up and have some of the money."

I am currently lost in the pain cave of the book I am writing. I have lost all objectivity stats. The negativity goblins are surrounding me. There is no sign of the light. All that matters is gathering the words and escaping.

Only irresponsible weaklings run in on a mate's fight, punch someone, and then run away yelling NOW IS THE TIME FOR PEACE. Also, bombing a middle eastern country because "they're close to having WMDs" - sound familiar?

I've restrained from commenting too much because I'm not American but I am a pretty keen student of history. It doesn't take much to see the parallels. Of course, Donald Trump hasn't read a book in his entire life and it shows.

Went to my old high school last night for information because that's where my son will probably go. That was weird. There definitely wasn't enough acknowledgement of me there that's for sure. No statues or anything.
