Often when I return home with shopping / groceries and I have the time, I play 'would you like to sniff this' with the cat where I get her attention and I hold out various items for her to sniff as unbag them, until she gets bored and walks away. I wish I knew what she was thinking when we do this.
Booo I found out that the easier to get to thrift store near me is closing in January but yay it had a big sale on pants, and my little bus adventure (2 hours door back to door) which also included dollar tree, the Hispanic market AND tacos from the good taco truck were achieved.
Abolish the death penalty for sure, but until then I think if you survive the attempt, there should be some kind of double jeopardy thing involved. like they should only get one crack at you, out of principle.
I am now very interested to see either a deep dive YouTube video essay or a good podcast on the big similarities and differences between the book and the show for East of Eden.

Okay I have definite post series fanfic ideas about East of Eden, after seeing the show.
