Debt principal sits on the books of most of these countries permanently while they make interest payments to certain interest.. Let the debt of slavery do so as well.

Watched a great documentary "Life & Debt" which goes into how the Clinton Admin fucked over the developing Caribbean nations by petitioning the WTO to force Europe to dismantle the market protections for Caribbean grown Bananas. This was almost 30 years ago.

They literally don’t believe in the free market principles they espouse. It’s just propaganda. The truth is they just want to be the only ones allowed to make all the money & they don’t want the consumer to have any choice.

I am triggered because she and Mike Rodgers are using a Black church to do this foolishness. It is targeted racism while she screams antisemitism. If she wanted to play this game, she could have left Black people out of it. But Black folks won't be swayed. They only see that she can't be trusted.

I think I’m semi triggered by Haley Steven’s because ..it’s so common for someone to agree to respecting the rules of interaction Then to flip out because you get something teh believe you don’t deserve And watch people “hear them out” You know how many emails I have like that letter she sent.

do not funnel your grief over this death into trek and x-men merch, paramount & disney dont need your money. go to plays, give to charities, vote for candidates who will fund public art, and you will make it possible for people like patrick stewart to exist and keep existing. a rising tide lifts all

If you want more Patrick Stewarts, then you publicly fund the arts and learning programs, so that working class kids can find their way into making a career in them.

IP law is messy and there is a lot of misunderstanding around it. It's shaping a lot of misleading discourse around the concepts of ownership when it comes to things like movies/music/video games and the average person Crossposted with @openvibe.social

I'm going to cry. I'm tired of working and somehow I can't get paid. Doesn't matter the size of the organization or whether it's full time or part time. Somehow the bullshit finds me.
