Been working on making things look a little nicer.

I played Spectral Tower recently. I have a way more feelings about it than I probably should have for what kind of game it is. I made it to about a quarter of the way through Queenrose Tower and thought "Okay, I think I get it."

every day i'm tormented with the horrific compulsion to make a creature collector game.

I know there's more baffling, but what comes to mind is one time someone went on a giant rant about how my game could not be beaten because it "Wasn't designed to be beaten" And "Enemies just come out if nowhere, Skyler can't catch a break."

If you see this, please tell me the worst/most baffling bit of creative feedback you've ever recieved. Mine is still the time somebody told me my aliens had names that were too alien. Not that they were unpronounceable, just that they didn't sound enough like human names.

Now that the game is nearly done, we're going to be putting out a final demo update in the next couple of days that fixes a lot of the issues with the build that's currently up. The main fixes include balancing and fixing some items and skills that didn't work. We also added a full combat log.

I don't usually post about my personal life, but... There's a gym near me that offers fencing classes and I've been thinking about going.

I combined all 22 of the Shin Megami Tensei fan models I've finished over the years into one image. With the exception for Strawberry Frost, who was lost to time. Demon names and games they're from are in the alt text.

Anyway! They Speak Zenith playtests have been going very well. There was a nightmare bug that we had to work through that set things back like, two months. But it's mostly taken care of now. Now that things are functioning as normal again, it seems like things are going 🎇okay🎇
