A related piece of advice that I stand by is "fiction isn't real," ie: there's no such thing as a 100% internally consistent fictional universe, nor should there be. If you want to make something that feels real, you make it *feel* real. The world isn't in your notes, it's in the mind of the reader.

FIYAH is going on hiatus indefinitely, with issue #40 currently set to be our last for the time being. The mag cannot continue running at a loss, and needs time to reassess operations from top to bottom if a viable path forward is to be created.
