Pierre Poilievre's Conservatives want to launch a witch hunt against Canada's public health heroes - just like MAGA is doing with Dr. Anthony Fauci. Poilievre offers nothing to Canadians except warmed over crap from the American extreme right.

I'm in the Star today with a piece on the Carney government's handling of relations with the United States. Last year, Canadians gave Mark Carney a mandate to disentangle our country from the empire to the south. By any reasonable standard, he's done the opposite. Link in first reply.

It's sad and scary how quickly neighbours you have had forever can just turn on you, threaten to destroy you so that they can take you over. The fact that so many are still listening and spreading the lies, that Canadians are users, that we have been horrible to you, that we deserve to be invaded. 😔

We’re watching familiar authoritarian tactics play out in real time. Their followers have no understanding of communism or socialism. There’s a vacuum amongst the uneducated being filled with misinformation and emotional manipulation instead of facts. They are being provoked, not informed.
