On this morning’s BBC R4 Sunday Programme, a DfE spokesperson said that RE trainee numbers are up — true, due to the bursary they’ve now scrapped! The rise proves incentives work. Removing them will undo the recovery. #TeamRE
Feeling so excited for the future of our wonderful subject. There’s a lot of work to do, but the community is strong and raring to go!

I’ve spent today celebrating the recommendation for RE to join the NC, as I know how hard key people have worked behind the scenes to make it happen. Now I’m realising the benefit for young people & their ability to navigate the complexities & beauty of life in modern Britain. #TeamRE
