I think it behooves video game devs to program in dead drop features in games, where if a game does not get updated in a certain length of time, it just unlocks a feature in the game that would fundamentally break it or embarrass whoever fired them.

Very regional, but yeah, used to be in a lot of places, especially pre-pandemic. Killed the occasional evening with friends driving out to Walmart at like 2am just for the people watching/excuse to stay out & they were great to stop at when I used to drive from Canada to the US weekly for work.

Fitting write-up for the show. NGO's still haunting me weeks later.
