of the places I’ve lived in, toronto is by far the best for finding cool shit in a box marked “free” on the sidewalk. In the past few years I’ve gotten two drum machines, kitchenware in perfect condition, storage bins, just the best Take My Old Stuff culture I’ve ever seen
When a celebrity, journalist, or “big account” complains about Bluesky being unfun or home to “scolds,” you can almost universally assume a trans person pointed out they were publicly supporting transphobia and the rest of us didn’t automatically bully the trans person for them
