PSA: Grad school is long and hard, so choose a program with strong sense of community. I was sick and stuck in bed on Thanksgiving yesterday, and three people from my program showed up to my house with plates of food for me. 🥹 That kind of support matters and it makes grad school a lot easier IMO

I’m teaching Drugs & Behavior this semester and offering an alternative assignment in place of research participation where my students will read research articles on substance use and answer questions about the articles. What are some must-read empirical articles you would recommend?

I was genuinely impressed by how accessible #APA2025 was! Main stage events had closed captioning during presentations, every poster board had a chair at it, and there were dedicated quiet, well-being, and prayer/meditation rooms. Other conferences should absolutely take note! ✍️
