I have just resigned from the board of "Statistics and Computing", along with 17 other Associate Editors. This was a difficult decision: this great journal has published many tremendous articles under the leadership of EiC Ajay Jasra, and before him David Hand, Gilles Celeux, and Mark Girolami.

🇸🇬 Next stop: Singapore for BayesComp'25 (bayescomp2025.sg) The organizers put together a wonderful program! I'll be: 🪑 chairing the session on "Parallel comp for MCMC" 🎙️ speaking at the session on "Advances in VI" Looking forward to meeting researchers and catching up with colleagues.

Researchers from CNRS & ESSEC in France will travel to their respective Singapore campuses in June. We are taking the opportunity to organize a mini-workshop on stats/ML at ESSEC Singapore on Friday, June 13. If you wish to attend, you are welcome, but for logistic reasons please let me know 🙏
