i’m sorry to be so blunt and harsh about this, but i’m deeply tired of seeing myself and my friends/colleagues be harassed by anti-AI people behaving like foolish petulant children on a purity crusade while they themselves are deeply deeply unfathomably unpure
your media is in data centers, your bread is made by corporations, your furniture is mass produced, your clothes aren’t sustainable, your transportation isn’t clean, you’re dependent on the grid, you can’t do much math in your head, you are deeply deskilled you are a hypocrite
modern americans are completely dependent on corporations and machines for the things in their daily lives: clothes, furniture, food, energy, televisions, smartphones, etc you don’t get to go around acting holier than thou because you think people shouldn’t use AI for anything! you’re hypocrites
have people just completely forgotten that some things are fun/enjoyable to some people and not to others? i love baking my own bread! vast majority of people do not make their own bread and get it from a corporation producing it at scale with machines! i don’t shame them or look down on them!
