#Odyssey In Homer’s Iliad (10.260-265), Odysseus’ helmet is described as being made of boar tusk and leather. The description matches this Mycenaean helmet from Tomb 515, Mycenae, Peloponnese, Greece. Dated 14th-13th century BCE (On display in the National Archaeological Museum, Athens). 📷 me.
