Dax is on point. If you know what you're doing, you should now be able to use LLMs as a helpful partner in many software engineering workflows (esp web dev ones), and you should be able to explore problem domains to produce better solutions. Source: x.com/thdxr/statu...

My brother, who did time for dealing, once lost his shit when he found a joint in my niece’s room. I think about this every time a university who made a deal with OpenAI punishes their students for cheating. Or anytime the NBA, awash in DraftKings money, punishes a player for gambling.

I find the narrative of “coding being solved” pretty disingenuous. It’s clearly a marketing ploy designed to rewrite history, as if all that ever needed to happen to build software was “writing code”, which is obviously not the case. I mean, was “coding solved” when compilers were invented?

Anthropic AI evangelists are continually trying to one-up their own hype train, and to what end? A massive IPO. But what about everyone else? Do we work less? Are we using better products? Or, are we just getting fed more ways to use tokens and feed these companies money?
