I was reading about a creator who experienced some difficult life moments and ended up noticing he didn’t respond back to a email for his artist for 6 months I related to that pretty hard, sometimes I’ll go a week without realizing I left a conversation in limbo. It’s never on purpose

Wish the industry evolved enough to allow shorter, consistently released middle grade comics. I love graphic novels but I think that both young readers and creators had more of a choice in formats. Not everything has to be or should be a 160-200 page GN. It can feel really limiting.
