i dont know when exactly this happened but a lot of sports fans have not been able differentiate “he had a bad game” or “he made a bad play” from “he is bad” for awhile now. i think the internet is only making this, like many things, worse

Opinions expressed here...ahh you probably don't give a damn anyways #Ashevillian #SFB9 #SFBX #SFB12 #SFB13 #SFB14 No I'm not Michael K Williams
At some point we also have to deal with the fact that one of the two parties is openly hostile to democracy. If you have to win big every election or else the country falls into despotism we're all just playing Russian roulette every few years
Ossoff: "The last time Trump lost the presidency, he tried to seize the presidency and overturn the election. That's why it's so important that we vote in unprecedented numbers. This is up to the people."
If Greenlaw basically got 2 games for a headbutt that wasn't all that serious, seems like Jackson should get more. Tbh given his off-season he shouldn't probably be on the field in the first place.
I want to make this very clear. I meant to do this before last weekend but I'll make sure it's perfectly clear now. My ass is still firmly planted in the driver seat of the LaNorris Sellers bandwagon. All aboard
Eh I think it’s a pretty accurate mirror for how much of society thinks about violence and SA against women
Look I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but it feels a little coordinated that EVERY national media source is suddenly framing his past as "adversity"
I wrote about Drake Maye and the Patriots offense. sports.yahoo.com/nfl/article/...
Stop piling on Drake Maye. A deep dive look at his struggles, what's failing around him and why Patriots should believe he'll bounce back
Maye and the rest of the Patriots organization have to start rebuilding the floor before it starts sinking even further.

It is really remarkable that in a time of historic impasse in Congress, with both houses have been reduced to complete standstills despite a mounting number of political, economic, and ethical crises, both parties have spent months working to pass a bill limiting the pay of college athletes
There is a hair to split between "I believe that Kermit is real" and "I believe that Kermit is mostly felt." In either case, living in fear of being backhanded by an angry pig is both a spiritual and physiological drive.
We passed the bill to address the thing you were really mad about! No, not the tariffs. Sorry, not the Iran war either. The Trump Checks? No, why would you even ask about that. The bill ESPN was obsessed with. You know, the thing Tommy Tuberville has been talking about. No, not the furries either.
It's kind of maddening to see almost no one with power and a major platform publicly wrestling with this. We're gonna have to talk about something other than gas and grocery prices at some point
It's good that we invented things like "government" and "the economy" but we can't meaningfully participate in them if the people in charge are constantly rubbing in our faces that these things are fake, and in fact you are a naive doofus if you think otherwise. That's a society on life support
What a throw. The more I see Kamario Taylor the better I feel about what he did to the Gophers
USC won't ever see the light of heaven and this kid should be done with football
What a classless series of decisions by this USC defender. He: takes a cheap shot at Dante Moore, celebrates his ‘play’ not realizing penalty flags were raining down, then acts like a wrestling villain as he heads to the sideline. Moore is hurt.
that hit on Dante Moore is one of the dirtiest shots I've seen in a minute
Wait they compiled this list of 100 shows and left off Scrubs?!? How am I supposed to take this seriously? Scrubs is a top 10 show of the 21st century and they leave it off the list. This is why we can't have nice things.

really glad we got through the horrendous running backs dont matter posting phase. so much better without people spamming that every weekend
FG from the 2 yard line. Burning timeouts. Inexplicable Purdy interception. We are so back!
In 2010 was invited to do an ESPN Radio junket in Bristol. It gave me a real life “This Is SportsCenter” moment when we’re walking to the cafeteria and Barry is sitting on a bench in a suit smoking a cigar. He paused, nodded, said “boys!” and went back to smoking.
Barry Melrose has passed away. One of the true media evangelists for the NHL. Rest in peace. www.espn.com/nhl/story/_/...
Which is why courting GOP/centrist voters is a fool's errand in Texas or any other red/purple geography. It's fine work to do and worth doing on messaging alone, but asking people to change their voting affiliation is a tall mf order. Most won't, even if they hate the candidate.
