15,000 years ago, in one of the the earliest settled communities in the world, a child collected fine clay from the slow-moving river by her home. She then committed an act familiar to all inveterate play-doh enthusiasts; rolling and and pinching the squishy clay into tiny round balls.

My mom's on quite a bit of pain meds after back surgery this week and she couldn't remember the name of America's Test Kitchen so she called it "Authority food people"

Hey, do me a favor and do an internet search for "free fridge" and your town's name. And then go drop some stuff off when you have some food you're not gonna eat. Got some takeout with an extra wonton soup you're not gonna eat? Take it to the free fridge. Someone needs it. Seriously.

The slur "tonks" is used by Border Patrol to describe migrants. It's derived from the sound a baton or heavy duty flashlight makes when hitting a migrant over the head.
