it is actually kinda wild how many commonly used colloquial words in Hungarian are from Hebrew via Yiddish: meló "job" from meloche, balhé "quarrel, conflict" from behole, szajré "loot, contraband" from skhoyre, tré "bad" from treyf, mázli "fluke/dumb luck" from mazl belong to this category

i think the best tell for AI text I've found is not necessarily any writing quirk per se but when something that has no business sounding like marketing copy reads like marketing copy
