I would be enjoying this fast start from South Carolina against Tennessee more, if, as a Kentucky fan, I hadn’t seen South Carolina lose 30 point leads.

Watching these league championship series as a Yankees fan is such a dissonant experience. On one hand: well-played baseball games by lineups that can defend and hit On the other: Yankees 2027 roster will require platoon lineups that can’t hit changeups and 3+ guys with negative DRS/OAA

It’s not just that the Yankees are wasting the best player in several generations, it’s that they continue to think players like Spencer Jones, Trent Grisham, Austin Wells, Anthony Volpe and Ryan McMahon are deserving of MLB roster spots and that they should respect Aaron Boone.

Yeah, the pitching has been fantastic, but this is the best the Yankees offense has looked this season. They slugged in clutch ABs, but they also got a bunch of base hits from the entire lineup.
Ben Rice and Cam Schlittler are proof that baseball exists in Massachusetts but without those two players we’d never have known!
