It might be weird, but I actually love this time period where we've gotten all the MSQ we're going to get and there's nothing really dramatically necessary to get done before the next expansion. I feel like I can just relax and do silly little tasks in-game at my own pace for a few months.

I feel indebted to the devs and everyone who works on FFXIV. I spent too long playing WoW, even when it made me absolutely miserable. So much joy lost out on because I refused to move on. I had played XIV off & on since ARR, but in 2020 I fully committed to playing it more. 10/10 choice.
