I don’t know what I ever did on flare days without @bibiblossoms.bsky.social mobility aids. Being a disabled content creator can be hard. Some days I can’t even lift my legs out of bed & others I’m in too much pain to move. Look how CUTE this back brace is, HELLO? I have 2 cute canes too.

I don't like that people put me on a pedestal because I'm marginalized. They expect perfection from me. They have unrealistic standards. And when I don't meet them. They immediately get upset and attack me. When I'm just a human being like them. I'm a human being.

One of the hardest parts of being a clothing designer is people accusing you of not being size inclusive or being fatphobic. When you actively fight manufacturers to give you bigger sizes. I know that people don't care but I genuinely do my best.

The conversation regarding white people with dark skin VTubers. Reminds me a lot of white cosplayers who darken their skin. I see the same justification for both. I learned from the cosplay community. That it's better to block these people and not give them attention.

Had the luxury of a nice few hours at this today. If it looks like slow going, it is! & That's why I use watercolour so often under pencils to speed things up. But I'm loving being able to do all these layers in pencil, a real joy. 😌 Also started a bit of the subtractive shading on the faded leaves

I've noticed that people have been getting meaner again. It reminds me of like 2021-2022. It feels like I'm being used as a punching bag and being dehumanized by more people than usual. Thankfully I have ways to handle this and protect my mental health. But I worry about others.

I've been asked a lot to make a longer compression glove that would also compress the wrist and arms. It sounds simple but it's not just a matter of adding more fabric. Everyone has different wrist and arm sizes. And it would cost more than my compression gloves and I worry people wouldn't buy it.

Sadly making longer gloves would be tricky because it would only work for certain people. Since people have different sizes for their arms. For now, I have lots of options for wrist braces.

@bibiblossoms.bsky.social Hi, Bibi! I really like wearing your store and I often wear the gloves I got there, but I have one issue with them. I have loose tendons, and my wrists often need more help than my fingers. Would it be possible to make longer gloves with compression covering the wrist?

I wish I could show the other things I got bc I love everything, but alas I dont want to spoil folks' xmas gifts by chance haha I got the majority of these off of her big clearance sale! So if you're wondering about trying some of her compression gear, or even skorts id say go check out her shop!

This has been one of the biggest things stressing me out all year is that I'm upsetting fans. I want to be writing so badly and for no reason my right arm decides it wants to stop working or I'm so exhausted I can't get out of bed. Even a minor stroke can forever change how your life functions.

I’m lucky my audience is more understanding now. But not always. None of us want to be away from doing what we love because it’s the only thing some of us have.

For being brave about your feelings as a content creator, you have my blessing and respect 🫡

The amount of times people have lashed out at me because I needed time and space due to my disabilities is immeasurable, especially in streaming spaces. People expect to get unconditional and constant support, but won't give that in return.

Please respect disabled streamers and creators. They are working twice as hard to give you content because their bodies or minds fight them the entire time. They have to take breaks more frequently and are often exhausted. Don't take it as an insult when they can't be there 24/7.
