So, I didn't hate The Odyssey, but I didn't love it either.
This shift to computerized state tests was made possible by schools' adoption of one-to-one devices. Which mostly happened with Covid. And yet, we rarely discuss the possibility that computerizing tests--without first teaching computing skills--might've contributed to subsequent test score declines.

Both the tween and teen are sleeping peacefully. Quiet time, y'all.

I have had some genuinely kind people ask me what I am writing right now, and I have had to tell them that I am writing nothing. Not because I don't want to be writing, but because life is too demanding at the moment.
Now, my office has become the staging zone for school supplies and ALL THE BOOKS that my kids and I are donating. 😭😭😭
