Finally, moving on to Washington. Despite having a top-2 non-partisan primary system, WA-3 has become a two horse race for “the Dem nomination” (as GOP candidate John Braun has likely locked up one of the 2 slots) between Rep Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (-2.17/7) & Brent Hennrich (6.5/7)
In comparison, Brent Hennrich is much representative of the average Dem, with Medicare-for-All as a central plank, an opposition to the genocide in Gaza & War on Iran + support for Ukraine, wants to dismantle ICE, impeach Trump & get money out of politics, refuses to take corporate PAC money, etc.
