Brilliant letter from Stuart Thompson to Jeremy Clarkson about his comments that benefit claimants should write weekly thank you letters to tax payers detailing how they spend their benefits each week.

Further mulling the future of the Commonwealth Games, and besides the various sporting arguments in favour - of which there are many - I think the case can be made most simply by asking: why *wouldn’t* you want people from all over the world to come together and have fun in this political moment?
