The quieter you travel, the further you’ll get

Quite literally none of you (and largely very few in the mkt) were in any way (let alone, materially) affected by the whole situational awareness nonsense and yet…. Fuck me sideways ppl do love to carry on. Spouting shit just for the sake of being heard. Anyway, happy Saturday. Go touch grass.

Sadly, I keep thinking about NKOTB. He maintains that the mkt is doing god’s work and is a pricing mechanism operating efficiently/correctly. From this all I can infer is that yields should continue to run higher and eventually the fed will hike. Tell me I’m wrong? And why.

time and again I feel it's been proven that in spite of all the pearl clutching things happen and everyone just moves on fewer FOMC pressers (should we go down that road) will be just another example

they do it the same way this administration has done everything else; point blank with zero fucks given (yes, I know they're not part of the administration etc - this isn't my first day on the job lads) my point is - increasingly a precedent of sorts has been set by the gibbon in chief

Asked by @carlquintanilla.bsky.social on @squawkstreet.bsky.social this morning how the Fed might rollback press conferences by the chair, I said, I don't know. In my 30 years of covering the Fed, I've only reported on increases in transparency. Not sure how they would announce a rollback.

Increasingly I have fewer and fewer good things to say about Straya but… undeniably their coffee is world beating Like even the shittiest greasy spoon does a coffee that’s better than most anywhere else in the world.
