With the newest version of my model I learned new tricks for cel shaded textures. Here's my new way to get nice, sharp lines between colors with materials. 🧵

A new project has started and this is the result of the first session! The character is X009, designed by Kouta Nagamori! Full credit for the 2D concept goes to them! The project is going to be livestreamed over on Twitch if you want to see how it's made from start to finish!

Unfortunately no stream today. Trying to get the hyena bard to look good in Unreal is taking a lot of back and forth exporting and fiddeling with settings and sliders. Which I don't think would make for a good stream. I'll do my best to have something to show next week!

It's been a while since I posted an update on the Hyena Bard, so here it is! The texturing is in a good stage and now it's fighting Unreal Engine to make it look good in there and adjust things as needed. Overal I'm very happy with the progress and look! Credit for the 2D design goes to Ale55.
