Hey fellow #indieDev devs, is anyone making or aware of a cool "animated flowcharts" tool? Like Mermaid but you can click to progress through several states?

we should bring back the attract mode. it’s a dead art. if i leave your game on the title screen for 30 seconds while i go pee or whatever i should be treated to a sneak peek of the gameplay or a cool cinematic that makes your roommate stop what they’re doing and put a quarter up

@nekodesu.radio thank you so much! I used to listen to Neko Desu a loooong time ago back on Twitter, it’s so cool to see you’re still around and doing this! 💚 A lot has changed in my life since then, but it makes me so happy to see that some things stay the same 💕

A Texture Lookup Approach to Bézier Curve Evaluation on the GPU jcgt.org/published/00... New published paper! The premise is that you can offload polynomial evaluation to the texture sampling unit, which can be useful for improving execution times if you are compute bound.
part of why I don't like AI is bc it's so often the antithesis of caring for the little things, the appreciation of the mundane, of seeing beauty where others haven't yet been able to, and seeking genuine fundamental understanding all in the name of "get product faster" I find it so disheartening

I’m tempted to actually buy a PS5 and a bunch of physical games (which I wanted anyway) from the store, new Just to prove the point that we actually want this stuff
It's interesting how, anecdotally amongst friends, the Sony announcement has killed their interest in buying anything for PlayStation 5 completely. Like, they just totally dropped it. Even folks that do not participate in online discourse. I'll be curious if this has any real impact in the long term
Need a demo to play? Right?🙃 Great, I've got one for free on Steam! Of my game 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗣𝗼𝗻𝗱 💦 And hey, there's the #GamesComposedInGermany showcase with super nice games in there. Check it out ❤️ #solodev #3dplatformer #cute

Remember Streeting's review into whether young people are being overdiagnosed with ADHD, autism, and mental health issues? Well, the interim report is out, and there's a reason the media are silent on it (spoiler: it proves what a lot of us have been saying all along)
This is huge for proper caching! ✨
Toward the end of this article is the most important point: assuming a change to HTTP verbs happens, the ecosystem has had twenty years of the current ones. That's major system changes across the board, from server software to client-side frameworks. www.theregister.com/devops/2026/...
Look, I’m an open source maintainer, and if you want people to use that FOSS software as an alternative to that proprietary software it’s good to understand why people wanted to use that proprietary software in the first place and why they might be hesitant to switch It’s not because users are dumb
